What inspires and motivates you?
I love being around people, motivating them, encouraging them & helping them to achieve the best they can both physically, mentally & emotionally. It’s motivating to know that I am helping to change the minds & bodies of people every day. But further owning & growing Pilates Elements pushes me to positively support people in achieving their potential and my potential as an individual. Also my family, friends and mentors inspire me each day!

What inspires and motivates you?
I am inspired every day by Adrian, my friends, family and those I surround myself with. There is nothing more inspiring than seeing someone transform in front of you mentally and physically and being able to assist them to become the person they desire to be is so motivating for me. I believe life is too short to miss opportunities and to only aim for mediocrity....having the desire to aim higher and know that you can always learn more gives me a drive for achievement and it is my passion to do whatever I can with what I can. Contentment comes with knowing that you have done your best.

What inspires and motivates you?
My wonderful husband, family and my friends motivate me and it’s all about the people that you surround yourself with, they reflect on you and you on them. I love people and being positive so what better way to enjoy this than to help motivate others. I love seeing and hearing about the awesome changes that happen in peoples’ lives when they feel healthy and take time for themselves. My love for Latin dancing (although I love ANY form of dancing) began in my early 20’s which lead me to pilates, recognising the similarities of core strength, body awareness, long, lean muscles and controlled, flowing movement. I then decided to become an instructor and have always strived to be the best I can be, learning as much as I can and appreciating my mentors and my uniqueness.

What do you do when you’re not at Pilates Elements?
• Spend time with my beautiful daughter Ruby who keeps me on my toes and my partner Tim.
• I love great food (sometimes not so great food!!) and wine and love to cook up a storm.
• I have travelled a great deal in the past and lived in some wondrous places in the world so these days I am content to be a home body.
What inspires and motivates you?
Fitness and especially Pilates has always been a great love of mine and being able to share that love is a great feeling. Knowing that I have been able to help someone either come through an injury or just improve their wellbeing is most gratifying. I am motivated on a regular basis by the people around me but my daughter Ruby is my greatest motivator. I am always looking to improve myself and what I do and hopefully be a great example for her. I have been most fortunate, since completing my training, to have worked, trained and learned from some very special people and continue to meet new people who inspire me every day.

What do you do when you’re not at Pilates Elements?
• Spend time with my beautiful family (husband Darren and 2 boys Hayden and Lachlan - being surrounded by very energetic boys, keeps me incredibly busy!). We love the beach, nature and keeping healthy & active!
• My husband and I also own and operate a construction business and outside all of that I ensure I also have time for Yoga and long walks too!
What inspires and motivates you?
Over 10 years ago while working in marketing at Australia's largest Health Retreat, I discovered my love of Pilates and Yoga. I love this type of exercise...it strengthens, stretches, tones and balances the mind and body (train the mind and the mind will train the body!). I had a genuine desire to enhance my knowledge in this area and bring more awareness 'within', so this desire led me to commence Pilates Instructor training in 2010. Now, I am fortunate to be able to share my passion with others! Our children are my inspiration - providing for them, being a good example and role model for them, spending quality time with them! They light up all the corners of my life... I am very blessed!

What do you do when you’re not at Pilates Elements?
• I am a workaholic! When not at Pilates Elements or Camp Eden, I may be found doing a few random shifts at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.
• Outside of work I keep myself active with Pilates, yoga and the love of my life – surfing!
• I love cooking & eating really great food, watching movies and reading.
• I’m also admittedly a Facebook addict!
What inspires and motivates you?
Simply, my personal love of exercise. Believe it or not, I was a sedentary child & only began exercising at University when the weight began to pile on. In my early 30's, when I finally realised the clerical/office jobs I had were entirely unfulfilling, I did the 'soul-search' thing and came up with personal training; since fitness was one of my passions. I have not looked back! Happiness, Positivity, learning, looking at the bigger picture and the desire to live a full, healthy, active life motivates me. People can motivate me, nature motivates me. Unfortunately coffee also motivates me, but I am learning to do without that!
